Our Philosophy (Our policy and motto)

The Okayama Voluntary Junior High School Evening Community Class (Jishu Yakan Chugakkou) teaches the compulsory Japanese junior high school curriculum. No matter what age or nationality, you are most welcome to join us.

Eligible participants include:

anyone who was unable to complete compulsory education due to various (personal and social) circumstances

anyone who graduated from junior high school but wants to relearn the content

anyone currently enrolled in a day-time junior high school but is unable to attend

We support learners who are willing to learn to improve life skills and increase their quality of life. We do this by expanding opportunities through education.
